He participated in the exhibition game between the Isotopes and Rockies.

Story, a former Isotope, most recently played with the club in 2015.

Since then, he’s emerged as one of the premiere shortstops in Major League Baseball.

He was an all-star and Silver Slugger in 2018.

This season, he’s ready to take things to the next level.

“Baseball is such a tough game. There's everything to get better at, getting defense, you know, the mental game, there's so much room for improvement,” Story said.

The Rockies begin their season Thursday against the Marlins.
