The Lobos are on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, they couldn’t slow down Fresno State.

Deshon Taylor and former New Mexico State Aggie Braxton Huggins combined for 42 points.

Coach Paul Weir knows the Lobos will have to be better if they want to be San Diego State.

“Playing San Diego State, you have the same concerns because they have an elite big man like they did and they have very good guards like Fresno did and your kind of balancing that act of trying to contain really good players on the other team with that kind of balance,” Weir said. “It's a tremendous challenge."

Tipoff at the Pit is set for 9 p.m.
