Lobos nab scorer in Zane Martin

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico men's basketball program has landed a new transfer, beating out Gonzaga and Maryland in the process.

Zane Martin is a 6 foot 4 point guard who averaged almost 20 points per game last season with Towson. He will have to sit one year before being eligible to play two seasons with UNM. 

A true point guard, Martin gives Lobos head coach Paul Weir a proven scorer at a position he was concerned about. 

To make room for Martin, Tajuan Agee is leaving UNM after coming to Albuquerque in June.
