The Lobos had four players in double figures led by Antino Jackson, who finished with season-high 20-points.

With the win, the Lobos are now 8-10 overall and 3-2 in conference. They have won five of their last seven games, playing short-handed with only eight players. Head coach Paul Weir was thrilled with the effort.

The UNM women's basketball team was dropped by the Wyoming Cowgirls Wednesday night in Laramie, 66-55. It's the first time the Lobos have lost back-to-back games this season.

Cherise Beynon led the Lobos with 28-points. The Lobos were only 3-for-16 from 3-point land.

With the loss, the Lobos are now 15-3 overall and 3-2 in conference.
