UNM drops three-game series to Nevada

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- After splitting the first two games, the UNM baseball team lost its weekend series with Nevada with a 13-8 setback on Sunday.

The Lobos lost the first game on Friday 9-5 but beat the Wolfpack 8-5 on Saturday.

Nevada scored six runs in the fourth and another four in the sixth, holding UNM scoreless until the eighth. The Lobos did plate six eighth-inning runs but got no closer.

UNM now heads to Lubbock, Texas Wednesday for a single game against Texas Tech.
