Developing pitching staff will be key, Lobo coach says

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The UNM baseball team will open the season one week from Friday against Oregon State.

Year in and year out, the Lobos find a way to hit. It's pitching that always seems to be a question mark.

"The most important part of the field is the bump and the bump is still waiting to see," head coach Ray Birmingham. "But they have the ability, but the key is their development and making sure they get developed the way they need to be."
