UNM men 4-3 in MW play after upsetting UNLV

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The UNM men's basketball team pulled off an upset on the road Wednesday night, beating UNLV 85-81.

The Lobos finished the game on a 9-0 run and there were a couple big plays by Anthony Mathis down the stretch that made a difference. He hit a four-point play to get UNM within one, then he scored the go-ahead 3-pointer in the final seconds.

UNM improves to 4-3 in Mountain West play, 9-11 overall.
