Tesha Buck had a game-high 24 points and Cherise Beynon added 20 as the Lobos led at the half, but TCU put together a strong second half.

UNM finishes with a 25-11 record and with a big step in the right directions.

"They really made it hard for us to score," Lobos coach Mike Bradbury said. "And on top of that, we turned the ball over way too many times, especially in the second half. And that was the biggest difference in the game."
