ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The University of New Mexico women's basketball team will host Boise State Wednesday night. The Lobos are 14-1 overall and winners of their first two conference games.

Jaisa Nunn has been effective since her return to the lineup. She missed 10 days after being in the concussion protocol. In the three games since her return, Nunn is averaging over 14 points and 11 rebounds a game.

"It was tough not being out there playing, especially for the Oklahoma game and not finishing the Navy game," Nunn said. "But it's just like getting into the swing of things just like watching plays and watching people out there really helped me."

The UNM women received 16 points in this week's USA Today coaches poll. The Lobos still sit six spots out of the top 25.

Meanwhile, the UNM men's basketball team is at Boise State Wednesday night.

Head coach Paul Weir said earlier during the break that he's hoping to get more production out of Vladamir Pinchuk. The freshman battled the flu earlier this year. In his last four games, he averaged more than 14 minutes a night but scored just a total of six points during that stretch.

"I think him and Makuach Maluach are very big keys to our season, especially as the year goes on," Weir said. "Them being freshman, they're going to be sophomores pretty quickly, and I mean this year. We need Vlad out there to be successful up front."
