LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Coaches say beating a team three times in a single season is a difficult thing to do, but that is exactly what the New Mexico Lobos try to do when they meet the Wyoming Cowboys.

The first time the two played it was a big second half by the Lobos, their first quality win of the conference season. The second time was a track meet with the Lobos winning a 119-114 game.

The Lobos need to slow down Hayden Dalton and Justin James. If they can keep one of them down, it's advantage Lobos.

The second key is tempo.

"They just want to pressure you and get you going fast and then you shoot the ball in 6 to 8 seconds, and was it really a good shot for us?" Wyoming coach Allen Edwards said. "And I think that's what we have to figure out."

That game starts at 9:30 p.m. Mountain Time.

Meanwhile, a classic battle between UNLV and Nevada ended with a 79-74 Wolfpack victory.
