ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – UNM running back Tyrone Owens is ready to get the season started.

He enters 2018 after two productive years.

He rushed for over 1,000 yards as a sophomore and just under 800 yards as a junior.

He tied for second on the team with four rushing touchdowns last season.

Owens says he's excited to see what he can do under Calvin Magee’s offense.

“To me, it's just about having fun my last year, just enjoying everything, just everything I can get myself into. Just enjoying it and coming out and doing my thing on the field," Owens said.

The Lobos open up their season against Incarnate Word on September 1.
