UNM women improve to 3-1 in MWC play

Washington scored a team-high 15 points in the game.

The Lobos 3-1 in the Mountain West Conference. Their only loss was to UNLV.

"We didn't dwell on that too much," Washington said. "We focused on this game a whole lot. Coach told us what we needed to do, like, we put that behind us. No, we didn't want that to happen again obviously."

Jasia Nunn added 14 points and seven rebounds.

"Coming off a loss is really hard, especially something that we haven't done in a while but I really like how the team reacted and how he responded," Nunn said.
