The two-time national champions won the Mountain Regional over the weekend.

They’ve also won 11 straight races.

The team’s coach said another win would mean a lot to the women.

“For these women to have a chance that's, you know, memories that will last forever and that's what I want them to do,” said Joe Franklin. “There's always certain things in life that you remember, the birth of a child, the death of a loved one, there is always some sporting event that will be seared in the memory for the rest of their lives."

If the Lobos win the national championship, it will be their title in four years.
