At the buzzer, the crowd stormed the Pit floor.

Vance Jackson was right in the middle of the melee.

"That feeling was amazing like words can't even explain it it's just you have to come to New Mexico and play in the pit,” Jackson said.

He had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists nearly putting a triple down on the Wolf Pack.

"That feeling was amazing like words can't even explain it it's just you have to come to New Mexico and play in the pit,” Jackson said.

Since transferring from UCONN, expectations for Jackson have been sky high.

Head Coach Paul Weir has been pushing Jackson to persevere through early struggles.

"It's been on me for a long time because you know turning the ball over and you know I got to get better at that but it's just all love you just want me to play the best that I can and I love him for that," Jackson said.

The Lobos will play UNLV Tuesday night at home.
