ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM men's basketball team started conference play with two wins. Since then the Lobos have stumbled with back-to-back losses.
In their latest game against Colorado State, they fell behind early and could never catch up.
The Lobos gave up 17 turnovers and struggled to stop the Rams from the perimeter.
Coach Paul Weir said their's work to do ahead of their next game against San Diego State.
"We've gotta find a better way to take better care of the basketball. That's coaching as well," Weir said. "We've got to find a better offensive rhythm or even system for flow where we're not turning the ball over 17 times in a game."
