ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Paul Weir, UNM head basketball coach, reflected on the season after losing in the Mountain West Tournament Thursday night.

"If you really just look at our year, the reality is we just didn't shoot the ball well and last year I think we had six guys at 35 percent or above from three and this year we had two," Weir said.

Missed shots cost the Lobos against Utah State.

Sam Merrill was clutch, scoring 23 points to help Aggies get the win, 91-83.

The Lobos finished the season 14-18.
