2 UNM baseball players have eyes on MLB draft

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Lobo baseball had two players named 1st Team All Mountain West, Justin Armbruester and Kyler Castillo.

Both have a year of eligibility left due to the COVID year, but they hope to be drafted this summer in the MLB.

"I’ve been wanting to be drafted to the MLB since I was a little kid– and then as far as coming back to UNM if the draft doesn’t work out, I want to find out who the coaching staff is first before I make that decision," Armbruester said.

"It’s always been a dream of mine to play professional baseball," Castillo said.
