6’10" power forward commits to UNM

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Richard Pitino added a big man to the team.
Jay Allen-Tovar announced Wednesday night that he will play for the Lobos.
He is a 6’10" power forward from San Jose, California.
He played at Salt Lake Community College, where he averaged 10.6 points per game and 6.5 rebounds.
"Front court we need to improve that depth greatly," Pitino said. "We’re working very, very hard with that every day– just seeing if we can add some virtual pieces, some skill, some length and guys that are eager to come here and get better.
