AAA: NM gas prices up from October

NEW MEXICO – Gas prices are going up in New Mexico, according to AAA.

The statewide average is $3.37 per gallon, slightly below the national average of $3.42. Last year, gas averaged $2.02 per gallon in New Mexico and $2.12 nationwide.

Chaves County has the lowest average at $3.20 per gallon, while Catron County has the highest at $3.80. Albuquerque and Santa Fe are each averaging $3.34.
