Carlsbad native Trevor Rogers named MLB all-star

CARLSBAD, N.M.- Carlsbad High School graduate, Trevor Rogers, has been selected to the MLB 2021 all-star roster.
The Miami Marlins pitcher is having a stellar rookie season with 2.02 ERA, 89 strikeouts, 75.2 innings pitched.
Rogers was a 1st round draft pick of the Marlins in the 2017 MLB draft.
He led Carlsbad to a state championship in 2016.
