Cibola grad Amaya Brown leaves Florida State, enters transfer portal

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Cibola grad Amaya Brown has entered the transfer portal. She’s looking for a new school after four years at Florida State.
Brown was a two-time New Mexico girls basketball Player of the Year, appearing in 44 games with the Seminoles over four years.
She battled multiple knee injuries which kept her sidelined in the 2020-2021 season. Brown has one year of eligibility left as a grad transfer.
