Danny Gonzales ready for week two of UNM fall camp

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Countdown to the season opener is on and the UNM Lobos are making the most of the remaining reps before kickoff.

Lobo Danny Gonzales said he felt good about the first week of practice.

"We’re making progress, we have a long way to go, but the energy is what they can control right now, and it’s been pretty good so far. It’s kind of a balance this time of year I mean I’m a full believer the only thing you get good at doing something is actually doing it, but we’re also trying to play games, so we got a scrimmage enough to get a good feel for it but stay fresh and safe," said Gonzales.

Houston Baptist comes to University Stadium, September 2nd.
