Former Lobo football player Hidalgo passes away

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Lobo nation has lost a member of their family.
Former UNM football player Rafael Hidalgo has passed away at the age of 26
He played with the Lobos from 2016 to 2018 going from walk-on to scholarship player.
Sources say Hidalgo suffered a medical episode at home that resulted in his death.
