Hope Christian football starts strong in week 1 victory

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Hope Christian football kicked off the season with a 28-14 victory over Portales.
James Jenkins led the way with two touchdowns.
It’s the first full season with coach Fernando Salinas at the helm.
The Huskies are hungry to make another run at state after winning it all in 2019.
