La Cueva among favorites going into state tournament

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The La Cueva baseball team will head into the state tournament with momentum.
They swept Sandia over the weekend to take over first place in District 2 4A.
The Bears, Sandia and Rio Rancho are the favorites in the state tournament.
"It’s going fast, but it’s a surreal experience," Ryan Roche said. "I think this is a great team, fantastic to be a part of it."
