La Cueva comes out on top in doubleheader with Sandia

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The La Cueva baseball team was locked in a battle with Sandia.
The teams played two close games Saturday.
The Bears came out on top in both games.
In the first game, La Cueva won 7-6. The Bears also won the second game 8-7.
With the wins, La Cueva takes over first 1st place in district 2-5A
