La Cueva football team begins season Saturday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- La Cueva football kicks off with the Los Lunas on Saturday.

The Bears are looking to make the most of the shortened season. They are led by some big time lineman.

Lobo commit Ja’shon Lowery leads the defense. Kentucky commit Lucas Padgett anchors the offensive line.

They’re looking forward to facing the tigers and UCLA-commit Tyler Kiene.

"We’re trying to make sure that we get as much, as many, reps as possible for the seniors, and then for the underclassmen better out there then I get the chance to try to develop for next season," said La Cueva coach Brandon Back.
