ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM baseball team will get to play for the first time in about two weeks.

The Lobos have been out of action due to COVID-19 contact tracing.

The Lobos take on the Washington Huskies Friday.

This is the first game for the team since their coach, Ray Birmingham, announced he was retiring.

"I wouldn’t say we’re not motivated to end it, we’re motivated to keep it going, if you know what I mean, and try to get his career to last as long as possible," said Jarrett Gonzales.
