Lobo Football: Offense Improves in 3rd Spring Scrimmage

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — UNM spring football wrapped up the week with another scrimmage at University Stadium Saturday.

Head Coach Danny Gonzales said he felt like the defense had the upper hand during the previous two scrimmages. However, this time it was the offense’s turn.

The Lobo spring game will wrap up camp next Saturday.

"I thought the offense came out here and had a hell of a day," Gonzales said. "They were a lot more physical upfront, made some plays on the outside. I thought the offense did a nice job of getting themselves prepared for the opportunity, and if you look at the negative, obviously the defense didn’t today."
