Lobo football ready for next scrimmage

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Spring football is moving along for the Lobos.
The team is set to scrimmage this Saturday.
Spectators are welcome to watch in the stadium.
Lobo head coach Danny Gonzales said it’s another chance to test his team’s effort and intensity with some live action.
The scrimmage will kick off at 9:30 a.m.
"Learning how to protect each other, but going full speed and being as aggressive and physical as possible. That’s what I’m looking for the most because we just need to get better. We need to get better at tackling on defense. I need to get better on the perimeter on offense."
