Lobo women’s basketball tips off season Tuesday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – UNM women’s basketball tips off the season Tuesday at The Pit with Lamar.

Defending Mountain West regular season champs won both of their exhibitions.

Roswell grad Jaedyn De Le Cerda wants the Lobos to push the tempo on Tuesday.

"Every day I’m out here I try to compete and just try to take it advantage of the time that I get playing on the court you know? Because we weren’t able to do that last year, so I think she’s doing that, just being with my teammates and being a leader is what is fine about this group,” said Cerda.
