ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM men’s basketball team invited the media to get a look at a practice session Tuesday.

The Lobos have two 6’11 players and two 6’10 players who are interchangeable. In all, there are eight newcomers, and every player is aware of the struggles from the floor.

"I think that’s what our big focus is on this summer, you know, just getting better every day," said KJ Jenkins. "And with a new team, it’s just really important to, you know, gel and get that chemistry, and that’s what this summer is all about."

Despite being a summer session, every player is excited to play in front of Lobo Nation at The Pit.

"I chose UNM because of the culture," Jalen House said. "I mean, I really wanna play in front of the fans. I heard it gets crazy out here, and I’m excited for that."
