Lobos remain focused after clinching division title

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The UNM women’s soccer team clinched the Mountain Division over the weekend.
The Lobos beat Colorado College 1-0, and improved to 7-1 on the season.
The defense really set the tone after picking up their sixth straight shootout.
"Just try to do the best that we can, and it’s work so far, but huge credit goes out to do defense and the subs that come in, too," said Lobo Emily Johnson.
"Feels amazing. I’m really, really proud of this team and like I think everybody’s gone through some adversity this year, but for these guys to be rewarded with a conference championship on the mountain side—it’s pretty special," said head coach Heather Dyche.
