ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Isaiah Chavez knows how to win, the Rio Rancho grad is now 3-0 as the Lobos starting quarterback.

UNM snaps a five game losing streak with Chavez under center.

They beat Wyoming 14-3 in Laramie, it was the first time the Lobo offense scored a touchdown since Oct. 2.

After the game, Chavez gave all the credit to his teammates.

"For us to do that guys coming off the ball. Guys blocking and taking heads off that’s what coach Warehime inspired us to do all this week. Took us a little bit longer than we wanted to but we finally got it clicking today. This win is to the o-line and to the defense,” said Chavez.
