New coaches start new chapter for Eddie Nuñez

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — UNM Athletic Director Eddie Nuñez has hired a head football coach, a head men’s basketball coach, a head volleyball coach, a head baseball coach and a head women’s tennis coach in four years.
UNM is no different than any other school in that regard, but Nuñez has found a comfort zone with his hand-picked coaches around him.
