New Mexico United returns to the field for preseason opener

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — 300 fans were able to watch New Mexico United play their preaseason opener against El Paso Locomotive FC Saturday afternoon.
It was the first match the team has played in New Mexico in more than a year.
United lost the match 2-1.
Their next home match will be April 10 against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. It will also be held at the team’s training facility at Mesa del Sol.
