ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico United welcomed back Chris Wehan this week.

Wehan returned to the pitch in Wednesday’s draw with the Oakland Roots.

He entered the match in the second half, playing 32 minutes.

United created plenty of scoring chances in the second half, but were unable to convert.

Wehan’s teammates said they’re confident he can help make a push for the playoffs.

"He’s a top quality person, top quality player, and he’s one of the best players in the USL and is gonna raise the level of our group, and he’s gonna make us all better.,” said Devon Sandoval, United player.

United takes on Austin Bold FC on Monday night.
