NMSP: Barricaded man arrested following standoff

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico State Police arrested a man after he barricaded himself with a gun at state police headquarters Saturday.

It started around 11:17 a.m., when a woman came into the NMSP office saying Andreus Lunch had attacked her and was outside.

State police shut down roads and set up a perimeter. Crisis negotiators were able to talk the man into surrendering peacefully.

Police arrested Lynch after a brief standoff. He is now charged with battery and resisting an officer.
