ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The NCAA cross country championships kick off Monday.

UNM women are ready to go in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The team is coming off their 13th straight Mountain West title.

Expectations are high for the Lobos since the team is ranked third in the nation.

"We want to keep the success for the team as well, so there are high expectations, but they are expectations that we are all trying really hard to fulfill and it’s really exciting, so I think that there’s a bit of pressure, but it’s the best type of pressure for us all," said Amelia Mazza-Downie.
