Pitino wants to re-energize Lobo fan base

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- UNM basketball coach Richard Pitino is willing to play in two-for-one series.
In a two-for-one seriesn, Power-5 teams would come to The Pit. In exchange, the Lobos would got to that school twice.
Pitino said when the Lobos get a higher net rating, Power-5 teams would be willing to play home-and-home games.
"I am for sure open to doing two-for-ones," Pitino said. "I have no problem with that. We have to get this state rejuvenated again about Lobo basketball."
