RRPS announces schedule change for February

RIO RANCHO, N.M. — Rio Rancho Public Schools announced a schedule change Tuesday ahead of a planned NMPED bus rider count in February.

RRPS will run on a regular school schedule Wednesday, Feb. 9, when a bus rider count will be taking place.

The early dismissal and no Pre-K classes planned for Wednesday will take place Friday, Feb. 11, instead.

The bus rider count is aimed at giving New Mexico Public Education Department a count to use when allocating funds for transportation services. The count is taking place on the 80th and 120th days of this school year.
