ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Devon Sandoval is no stranger to scoring goals.

He was the first New Mexico United player to score a goal in 2019, and the first to score this season.

Sandoval then went 11 games without a goal, but ended that drought Monday against Charleston.

"I think we’ve been more dangerous the past five games," Sandoval said. "We’re starting to create more chances, and I think we’re starting to flow a little more. We scored two goals, but we weren’t too far away from scoring three or four. So, we just need to keep grinding and keep pushing like that, and more goals will start falling for us."
