Scarlett Lisjak

Scarlett Lisjak is the Farmington Bureau Reporter for KOB 4. She joined the team in April 2022.

She earned a Masters of Science Degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and graduated in 2021. For her undergraduate studies, she received a Bachelors in Political Science and Psychology at Syracuse University in 2016.

Scarlett was born in New York and grew up on the Seneca Nation Territory in the western region of the state. She is an enrolled Heron Clan member of the Onondaga Nation, and looks forward to exploring the diverse cultures of the Southwest.

Previously, Scarlett worked as a multimedia journalist in South Dakota. She has also interned for TV stations in Buffalo, New York and Springfield, Massachusetts – in addition to covering northeastern Native American stories for Indian Country Today.
