Serious accident near Taos closes NM Highway 68

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A double fatal car accident on State Highway 68 has brought traffic to a standstill north of Pilar.

The accident occurred near milepost 33.

New Mexico State Police is assisting the Taos County Sheriff’s Office in an investigation.

Drivers traveling to or from Taos are advised to seek alternate routes.
