Special effects explosions occurring Oct. 18 and 19 in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, N.M. – If you hear explosions near midtown that make you feel like you are in a movie scene, it turns out you may be close to one.

A new movie production is blowing up cars and shooting prop firearms at Garson Studios’ midtown site.

It will be taking place Monday, Oct. 18, from 12-7 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
