ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Lobo football hits the road to Wyoming this week and, as of right now, the starting quarterback has not been announced.

If Terry Wilson’s elbow injury keeps him out again, it will be either CJ Montes or Isaiah Chavez.

Montes started last week while Chavez played briefly in the fourth quarter.

Chavez missed six weeks with a concussion during fall camp and to start the season.

Dann Gonzales likes the way Chavez leads, whether he’s playing or not.
