Team Coverage: Richard Pitino embracing history of The Pit

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- UNM men’s basketball coach Richard Pitino was introduced in front of fans in Albuquerque Thursday.
"This is a special place that cares deeply about college basketball, and the more and more I did my homework on this unbelievable opportunity, everybody said not too many places out there in the country that are like The Pit," Pitino said.
The former Minnesota coach said he came to the Duke City to win championships.
