Unbeaten Volcano Vista boys and girls chasing history

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – In the history of New Mexico high school basketball, there have been several teams to finish a season undefeated.
However, there’s never been a school to have a boys and girls team run the table in the same year.
Each Volcano Vista team is 24-0 entering this week’s district tournament.
The girls are on a 36 game win streak dating back to last year’s perfect season.
The boys have won by double digits in 22 of their 24 games.
The Hawks hope to keep making history together.
