Underdog Manzano softball back in playoffs, ready for state

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Manzano softball has a date with Alamogordo Friday in the state tournament.
The Monarchs are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2019. The 5-5A champs are the 14 seed in the bracket.
They’re not shying away from being an underdog on the road.
