ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- New Mexico United gave up a season-high three goals Friday in a loss to Colorado Springs.

Hadji Barry scored two goals for the Switchbacks who are now tied with United with 14 points. Both teams are in third place in the Mountain Division.

Missing chances to extend their early lead proved costly for united.

"They’re gonna always create chances ’cause that’s what they do, and they do it very, very well," said United Coach Troy Lesesne. "So in the end, when you have moments to kill the game off, you have to take advantage of that– particularly on the road."
